Meet Jet van Dijk: one of the faces behind GoCredible who makes sure everything runs smoothly and carefully behind the scenes.

What is your role at GoCredible?
“I work as a CDD analyst and also in the customer service department. I check whether files comply with the Dutch Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft). In doing so, I make sure our clients and platforms follow the rules. And of course we also monitor our own policy. If extra information is needed, I request it so that everything is handled neatly and carefully. So I also have a lot of customer contact.”
How did you end up at GoCredible?
“Through my colleague Britt, actually! We know each other from Amsterdam, and she thought this role would suit me well. I’m doing a double bachelor’s in Economics & Business Economics and Econometrics & Data Science, so my work at GoCredible also fits well with what I’m studying. I wasn’t looking for anything new, but when I did some research into the company, I got excited pretty much right away. During the interview the atmosphere also felt good immediately. Never regretted it for a moment!”
What does a workday look like for you?
“A cup of coffee first, of course. After that I check how many changes, onboardings, and customer requests have come in. I maintain a lot of contact with clients, which we consider very important at GoCredible. So I check whether there are any outstanding requests and try to handle these as quickly as possible. I like to call people directly; that way you solve things personally and quickly. No chatbots, but real customer contact. Beyond that, I step in wherever needed, for example with long-running projects or where other colleagues don’t have time at the moment. A kind of utility player, in other words!”
What’s the best thing you’ve experienced at GoCredible?
“The anniversary BBQ! That was so much fun. I also talked extensively with colleagues I normally see less often, and Teun’s speech I found really inspiring. Everyone had also brought their partners, which made the atmosphere even nicer. I was still fairly new at GoCredible at the time, but felt welcome right away.”
What would you still like to learn?
“I’m currently working on improving our work instructions: how we can train and onboard new colleagues faster and better. Since I myself started not that long ago, I know well what someone runs into. I use that experience, together with the other colleagues, to optimize our way of working and help new colleagues settle in well.”
What’s your motto?
“That you should do something that genuinely makes you happy. Your work and the people around you should give you energy, not cost you energy. If you truly enjoy something, you naturally get better at it.”
What do you like to do in your free time?
“I really love fashion. I like looking for jewelry or items that are just a little different and stand out; something that completes an outfit. I really enjoy that!”
How can people reach you?
“Feel free to send me a message on LinkedIn!”
